We are delighted to have delivered another electric vehicle to the team at Chewton Glen, marking a fantastic milestone in our ongoing partnership with the estate.

Back in August 2022, we delivered their first six vehicles; a fleet of three AMP 6-seat passenger buggies and three AMP XL housekeeping buggies. This latest delivery brings their total to seven AMP vehicles, with the new arrival going straight to work supporting everyday estate operations.

Here are the details on the newest addition:

AMP XL Housekeeping Buggy (TH7)
This new workhorse has joined the fleet as an additional housekeeping buggy, specifically tasked with servicing the estate’s Tree Houses and The Kitchen Restaurant.

• The Extras: To make handling and navigation as safe as possible on the busy estate paths, this unit was spec’d with both a reversing camera and ultrasonic reverse sensors. We also added a rear luggage carrier for extra utility.
• Dry Storage: The back is fitted with a secure roller door box, providing a completely rain-proof carrying area to keep fresh linens and supplies organised and dry.
• All-Year Comfort: To look after the crew during winter shifts, the fully enclosed cab features built-in heating to keep the operator warm and dry.
• The Personal Touch: As the seventh AMP vehicle to join the lineup, this hardworking buggy has been officially designated as TH7 within the estate’s fleet.

May 2025: AMP XL Housekeeping Buggy

Our most recent delivery is a practical workhorse for the housekeeping team, built to keep the Shepherd’s Huts fully serviced all year round.

• The Extras: This unit was customised with a rear roller door box and internal shelving, keeping fresh linens and supplies organised and completely rain-proof.
• Operator Comfort: The fully enclosed cab features built-in heating to keep the driver warm and dry during the winter months.
• The Finishing Touch: It features a reversing camera for precise handling on estate pathways, along with bespoke graphics to match the Lympstone Manor branding.

June 2024: AMP 6-Seat Passenger Buggy

Delivered last year, this vehicle is on shuttle duty, taking guests comfortably between reception, the car parks, and the accommodation.

• All-Weather Runs: It keeps passengers comfortable and out of the elements, no matter what the weather is doing.
• Extra Luggage Space: We fitted a rear luggage carrier to the back so guest bags can travel easily alongside them.
• The Finishing Touch: Just like the housekeeping buggy, this unit includes a reversing camera and custom graphics.
