We recently delivered two new electric vehicles to the team at South Lodge to help look after their brand-new lakeside lodges, The Reeds.
They took delivery of an AMP 6-Seat Passenger Vehicle and an AMP XL Housekeeping Buggy, both customised to handle the specific day-to-day needs of the estate.
Here is how they are being used:
Guest Transport: The AMP 6-Seat Passenger Vehicle
This vehicle is on shuttle duty, taking guests from reception down to The Reeds.
- All-Weather Runs: It keeps passengers comfortable and out of the elements, no matter what the weather is doing.
- Extra Luggage Space: We fitted a rear luggage carrier to the back so guest bags can travel easily alongside them.
Estate Support: The AMP XL Housekeeping Buggy
To keep the new lodges serviced and running smoothly, the housekeeping team needed a practical, hardworking setup.
- Dry Storage: The back features a secure roller door box with internal shelving, keeping fresh linens and supplies organised and completely rain-proof.
- Laundry Rack: We added a heavy-duty roof rack to carry bags of dirty laundry.
- All-Year Comfort: The fully enclosed cab has built-in heating to keep the driver warm and dry during the winter.
Built for the Job
Both vehicles were finished with bespoke graphics to match the South Lodge branding, and we installed reversing cameras on both units to help the team navigate the estate pathways safely.
